Who I am
Quantum Consulting Europe Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, with a registered address at 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. This policy explains how personal data collected through qce.me.uk is handled. For any question about it, or to exercise any of the rights set out below, email
neil@qce.me.uk.
What I collect
Enquiry form. Your name, email address, organisation and whatever you choose to tell me about your project.
Server logs. Your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, recorded automatically by the hosting provider for security and diagnostics.
Cookies. A small number of strictly necessary cookies — see the
Cookie Policy.
Why I collect it, and the lawful basis
Enquiry data is used solely to respond to you and, if we go on to work together, to manage that engagement. The lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you initiated — and, once an engagement begins, performance of a contract. Enquiry data is not used for marketing, and it is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Who else processes it
Your data is handled by the services that run this website and my email: the website host, the service used to deliver form submissions by email, and my email provider. Each acts as a processor under contract and only on my instructions. No data is transferred outside the UK or European Economic Area except where those providers do so under an approved safeguard.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to an engagement are kept for six years after it ends, in line with UK statutory limitation periods and HMRC record-keeping requirements.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to it being processed, or ask that processing be restricted. Email
neil@qce.me.uk and you will receive a response within one month. If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at
ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page and the date at the top updated. Material changes affecting how your data is used will be notified directly where I hold an address for you.
